There’s a fable in the forest of fame
whispered among trees.
Passersby that meander inside
are often reluctant leavers, teetering as trespassers,
petrified to see the glory cease.
The mortality of travelers
is a well known but unspoken secret,
for, it’s deep rooted in the infamous folly of
“THIS WON’T HAPPEN TO ME!”

Fame comes with a folly, an illusion. The famous feels the game will never cease to exist, but no matter how much and how hard they try to hold on to it, the glory soon fades away. What they are left holding at the end is often what was most neglected.
This is so so true Pallavi….and when that fame fades away, many become an emotional mess. Excellent writing 👍

Wow ! Beautifully expressed. It’s quite disturbing to come to terms with glory not being by your side anymore. The fear associated with it, could be quite unsettling for some..

So true, Pallavi! If fame changes someone and it becomes a necessity for them then once it fades away, it gets very difficult to deal with and you are left with the regrets of your decisions!
Beautifully penned, dear ❤️♥️

Incredibly well-written, friend ❤️. And astute insights. Pride often causes us to think we will be the exception to the rule, but it’s something we have to continually watch.
